Check out the reigning NFL MVP Patrick Mahomes show off his dance moves as he celebrates Texas Tech in the National Championship Game.

Everyone knows Patrick Mahomes can ball, but at the National Championship Game, the NFL MVP showed he’s got some good moves too.

Mahomes was caught on the CBS cameras doing a bit of a shimmy shake in response to the hot shooting of Matt Mooney early in the first half of the title game vs. Virginia.

You can take the quarterback out of Texas Tech but you can’t take Texas Tech out of Mahomes. He stared there in Lubbock and has always repped Tech even when he became a huge star with the Kansas City Chiefs. With Texas Tech playing for their first Men’s National Championship in school history, there was no way Mahomes was going to miss this moment.

He was at the Final Four game vs. Michigan State where he looked like their biggest cheerleader. He’s definitely their superfan and unofficial good luck charm.

Things didn’t start out so great for Texas Tech, but their defense finally woke up, and, along with it, their offense.

Texas Tech would end the first half down 32-29, but it’s still anybody’s game to have; and if Texas Tech can pull off an upset of Virginia, we will definitely be seeing more fine dance moves from Mahomes.

There will be plenty of these type of dance moves and celebrations for years to come, so he’s got time to work on his repertoire.
