What can the Trail Blazers and Nuggets do for an encore after their four-overtime classic in Game 3? Here’s everything you need to know to watch Game 4.

It took four overtimes to decide Game 3 between the Nuggets and Trail Blazers, ending with a heart-breaking loss for Denver and Portland in the driver’s seat. In Game 4, the Trail Blazers will be looking to build on their 2-1 series lead, while Denver tries to shake off the emotional weight of losing one of the most competitive games in playoff history.

For Denver, wear-and-tear on Nikola Jokic has to be a concern. Their offensive star didn’t cross the 40-minute threshold even once during the regular season but he’s now done it in three of his last four games, including a super-human 61 minutes in Game 3. Conditioning is always a concern for Jokic and Denver can’t survive without him making big contributions. If he doesn’t have the energy for volume or efficiency in Game 4, Denver could be in big trouble.

For Portland, they need to figure out how to get Damian Lillard back on track. He was sensational in their first-round series against the Thunder, and countered Denver’s aggressive defense in Game 1 by relentlessly driving to the rim and getting to the free throw line. But in Games 2 and 3, Lillard has shot 15-of-41 from the field with just 10 free throw attempts. For the series against Denver, he’s just 7-of-28 on 3-pointers.
