Patrick Mahomes has been a full-time starter in the NFL for just two seasons. Despite that, he’s already built an all-time great highlight reel.

There isn’t much Patrick Mahomes can’t do. He’s proved that time and time again on the football field and is arguably the best player in the NFL at the age of 24.

After winning the 2018-19 NFL MVP and becoming the third player to ever throw for at least 5,000 yards and 50 touchdowns, Mahomes followed up that feat with a Super Bowl MVP season. Although his numbers took a hit and he battled injuries throughout the regular season, his best football came just in time for the postseason.

Mahomes’ legend is already growing unbelievably fast in NFL spheres. Players around the league and media personalities alike are taking note of him dominating the league at such a young age. Heck, it took him quite a while before he even learned how to read defenses — and he still thinks there’s room to grow on that front. Sit back and enjoy his top 10 highlights thus far.

10. 50th TD pass of 2018 season

As previously mentioned, this was the throw that put Mahomes in the record books. Not only was it an unbelievable play, but it was his 50th touchdown pass of the year. It put him alongside Peyton Manning and Tom Brady, the only other quarterbacks to accomplish the 5,000-50 feat.

This play was drawn up to perfection. The offensive line’s protection held on long enough for Mahomes to step up into the pocket and unleash a ball that traveled nearly 50 yards in the air to Demarcus Robinson. The Oakland Raiders defensive back went for it all and ended up paying the price.

Robinson waltzed into the end zone, knowing the significance of the ball he just caught. That play will go down as one of the most important in Kansas City Chiefs history.
