Toronto Blue Jays might finally have found a home for 2020

The Toronto Blue Jays might share Camden Yards with the Baltimore Orioles.
The Toronto Blue Jays are a team without a city in 2020, as the Canadian government refused to let a team that will spend months traveling all around the COVID-19 hotspot America has become re-enter the country. Looking anywhere and everywhere for a home stadium, a division rival might have thrown them a bone.
Per Dan Connolly of The Athletic, the Baltimore Orioles have offered up their park at Camden Yards as a potential home ground for the Blue Jays over the course of the 2020 season.
The Toronto Blue Jays are moving their temporary home from Pittsburgh to Baltimore.
Playing in Pittsburgh’s PNC Park seemed like the best possible alternative for all parties involved, but the Pennsylvania Department of Health put the kibosh on that.
While the Blue Jays could conceivably play in Dunedin, where the team’s Spring Training complex and Class-A Advanced affiliate are housed, or Buffalo, home of the Triple-A Buffalo Bisons, the team seems set on playing in an MLB ballpark with all the amenities and features therein.
Even with the lack of a home stadium at this point, the Blue Jays might be as entertaining a watch as a team expected to hover around .500 can be. With young stars like Vladimir Guerrero Jr. ready to break out and establishes studs like prized free-agent starter Hyun-Jin Ryu, the traveling roadshow that Toronto has become is still worth your time.
Camden Yards is one of the most beautiful parks in baseball, isn’t too far away from home base in Toronto, at least comparatively speaking, and is a hitter-friendly ballpark in which Guerrero and Bo Bichette can flourish.
While it might be a bit awkward to see the Orioles play a “road” game in their home stadium, that doesn’t even crack the top 20 weirdest things going on in this unusual season.
