Woj is back with a tweet about a Pacers star.

Adrian Wojnarowski became a hero to some with a recent controversy that resulted in a suspension from ESPN. He responded to an email from Senator Josh Hawley with a simple message of “(expletive) you,” which led the Senator to share that and ESPN responded with their punishment.

Woj’s last tweet was an apology he sent out July 10. Yet like a phoenix rising from the ashes, he came out of nowhere Friday afternoon with a tweet marking his return. It also involved some bad news for Indiana Pacers fans.

Returning with a Woj bomb

Woj’s Twitter followers may have had to do a double-take when seeing his name show up on the feed. The first reaction was to celebrate he was back after a two-week hiatus. The only people not celebrating were Pacers fans.

Woj’s latest bomb shared the unfortunate news that Domantas Sabonis has left the Orlando bubble with a foot injury. The injury existing was not a secret, but it is clearly severe if he has to leave to seek the treatment.

Leave it to Woj to return without any fanfare. He just did what he has always done and if Pacers fans have to hear a little bad news for the bombs to return, so be it.

Meanwhile, Sabonis is only 24 years old and having a significant foot injury is never a good thing for a basketball player. This comes after making his first All-Star Game in 2020. This is a major blow to a Pacers team currently tied for fifth in the Eastern Conference with the Philadelphia 76ers heading into the NBA restart.
