A stacked slate leads to a lot of decisions for Fanduel NFL lineups.

The NFL has always been the league of the quarterback, but this NFL season has been so skewed towards the quarterback that a daily fantasy lineup almost can’t survive without a great one.

With Russell Wilson, Josh Allen, and Dak Prescott scoring 30+ fantasy points a week, while players like Cam Newton, Matt Ryan, and Patrick Mahomes have been all over the place, it’s hard to predict who to go with.

Offenses have exploded to start the season. This season, nine different offenses are averaging more than 400 yards per game.

Last year, there was only two (although it is a small sample size). There is offense everywhere. This sounds like it would make putting together a daily fantasy lineup easier, but it’s actually harder. One wrong move could be the difference between big money and no money. The difference between Tyler Lockett and DK Metcalf was the difference between 1st and 15th ($1,000,000 and $875 on Fanduel’s biggest Sunday slate).

This week, the slate for Sundau is intriguing. With Denver vs. the Jets on Thursday night and Philadelphia taking on an injury-riddled San Francisco 49ers team on Sunday Night Football, only the Atlanta Falcons offense and the Green Bay Packers offense are missing from the choices at all positions. The Eagles, Jets, and Broncos are all in the bottom third of the league in offensive production.

This leaves some of the biggest names in the league available. Want DeAndre Hopkins, Lamar Jackson, and Nick Chubb? It’s possible this week. Looking for Mahomes, Michael Thomas, and Derrick Henry? Again, this is up for grabs. However, there are better options to build your lineup in what will be a very expensive week.
