With Manchester United receiving a tough Champions League draw, it has fans begging Ed Woodward to complete a deal to get Jadon Sancho to Old Trafford.

The 2020-21 Champions League Draw took place on Thursday, and unfortunate news arrived for Manchester United fans hoping the Reds would cruise to the knockout stages. That’s not going to happen.

That’s because Manchester United has been placed in Group H with Paris Saint-Germain, RB Leipzig and Istanbul Basaksehir. RB Leipzig made it to the semifinals in the 2019-20 Champions League, while PSG lost to Bayern Munich in the final. Of all the groups, H surely might be the most difficult.

With Man United fans worried an early exit is on the way and the club will return to the Europa League, the calls for Ed Woodward and the front office to get Jadon Sancho to town have only intensified. The fanbase is borderline desperate for a move to be made.

Will Jadon Sancho end up making the move from Borussia Dortmund to Manchester United?

Sancho has been linked with a move to United for a while now, but reports claim the Reds haven’t come close to Dortmund’s asking price of €120 million. It’s surely a steep price for the winger, but United is in dire need of strengthening its team.

United started off the 2020-21 English Premier League campaign with an embarrassing 3-1 loss at Old Trafford to Crystal Palace. They followed that up by barely beating Brighton 3-2, needing a Bruno Fernandes penalty in stoppage time to get the three points.

It’s not only Sancho that the fans are calling for, though. Reports out of England have Manchester United interested in left back Alex Telles, striker Edinson Cavani and multiple other players. Yet, while teams like Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham have had no issues signing new guys, United’s negotiations seem to be dragging out.

In Sancho’s case, a move will need to be made by the Oct. 5 transfer window deadline, otherwise he won’t be returning to England and will be staying with his German club. Should United pull a rabbit out of its hat and land Sancho, Manchester will be turned upside down in celebrations. If they strike out, fans will go ahead and assume they won’t make it out of Group H.
