Josh Norman isn’t allowed to play in the NFL anymore after this Derrick Henry stiff arm

Norman has made his rounds in recent years, but at 32 years of age his best seasons are behind him. Henry’s stiff arm was so severe it must have Norman wondering if this career path is really worth it anymore. Sure, Vance McDonald delivered the stiff arm of the decade just a few years back for the Pittsburgh Steelers, which led to a touchdown. But has there ever been an extended arm so savage, and so demonstrative, as the one Henry threw on a Tuesday night?

Did Norman exit the frame? Goodbye, stage left?

Henry is the most powerful running back in the NFL for a reason

Henry is a beast of a running back and the Alabama product is truly valued in Tennessee. Mike Vrabel preaches a ground-and-pound style, with Ryan Tannehill taking advantage in play-action situations.

While it remains to be seen if the Titans can win a Super Bowl this way, Henry has already established himself as the best running back in football. He’s a tank of a person, and there is no defender who can tackle him one-on-one in the open field. Whatever Norman was trying did not work, and he must walk away from the game as a result.
