The offensive line was arguably Dallas’ strongest unit, but some really unfortunate injury luck has plenty of backups playing on that team. Tackles Tyron Smith and La’El Collins have already been ruled out for the remainder of the season, center Travis Frederick retired before the season started, and right guard Zack Martin has played through some injuries. Whoever is under center will be running for their lives behind underwhelming backups, and Glenn could help rectify that issue as soon as he signs.

Glenn was very poor in 2019, and his injury history will scare some teams off. Having said that, Glenn could offer the Cowboys experience, tackle/guard versatility, and enough brute strength to start making some big holes for Ezekiel Elliott in the running game. As he just turned 31, Glenn isn’t going to cost a ton of money to bring in. If the Cowboys manage to retain him past 2020, he could be either a high-end backup for Smith and Collins or a candidate to switch inside permanently and challenge Connor Williams at left guard.
