The Ravens and Cardinals need to be on upset alert this week.

We are almost halfway home for the 2020 NFL season and Week 8 was quite crazy. There were a ton of upsets, including some absolute shockers like the Dolphins blowing out the Rams and Cincinnati jumping all over Tennessee early.

That went well for the picks in this space last week, where we hit two out of three upset picks and nearly had a third before Cam Newton fumbled away New England’s hopes on their final drive. Let’s take a look at three more teams who need to be on upset alert in Week 9, with all odds referenced courtesy of the FanDuel Sportsbook.

The Ravens need to be on upset alert against the Colts

There may not be a team more disappointed in their performance in Week 8 than the Ravens, who lost a bitter contest at home to their archrivals, the Pittsburgh Steelers. The loss puts Pittsburgh two games up on the Ravens and continues a bad trend of poor play from Lamar Jackson.

The reigning NFL MVP hasn’t looked the same this season and committed four costly turnovers in the Ravens’ loss. Things could get tough again this week for Baltimore, which hits the road as three-point favorites against the Indianapolis Colts.

While Phillip Rivers has had his issues moving the ball Indianapolis’ defense is tough, which should keep them right in this game. Don’t be surprised if the Colts’ defense forces Jackson into more mistakes and sends Baltimore to a second straight loss.
