The Dallas Cowboys could have tied the game if not for a missed call from the referees and a catch from CeeDee Lamb.

The Dallas Cowboys are hanging in with the Baltimore Ravens as the game turns to the second half. Beside a bountiful load of injures and inadequate defensive play all season long, Dallas only remained a touchdown behind as the clock struck zero in a 17-10 line.

However, the score could have been tied if two plays would have gone the Cowboys way a bit earlier.

During the final drive, CeeDee Lamb went to the outside, trying to gain leverage on safety DeShon Elliott. A bit lat, one could clearly see the Ravens’ defender grab Lamb not once, but twice as Andy Dalton delivered the strike.

Instead, the referees missed the called, leading to a third and short with seconds on the clock.

Twice plays by Lamb cost the Cowboys points

The first play could be blamed on a poor call from the referees. The second one is on Lamb almost entirely.

As time expired, Dalton threw a strike deep into the end zone on a Hail Mary ploy to tie things up. Lamb, who was in line to make the big play, saw the ball go through his fingers even though he had both hands on the ball.

Instead of positive play, it ended on a sour note for the boys in blue.

Dalton has gone 15-of-22 for 123 yards with a touchdown and an interception. On the flip side, Lamar Jackson has finished 9-of-12 for 76 yards with the same number of touchdowns and turnovers.

This could be a moment that comes back to bite Dallas in their keister. One due to bad officiating and the other by a rookie drop.

Two hands CeeDee. Two hands at all times.
