Keyontae Johnson will be part of Florida football’s Senior Day in spirit.

Florida football player Clifford Taylor will make sure Keyontae Johnson is on everyone’s mind tonight as the Gators take on LSU on Senior Day.

Johnson collapsed on the court in the game vs. Florida State and is in the hospital in critical but stable condition.

Florida’s tight end Taylor, a former walk-on, will bring out Johnson’s basketball jersey during the pregame ceremonies at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. Hopefully, Johnson makes a full recovery. We all know the SEC East champion Gators will be playing for a little bit more tonight when they take on the cross-divisional rival LSU Tigers.

Florida elected to keep playing after Johnson has to be hospitalized

Mike White’s basketball team voted to keep playing after Johnson had to be taken to the hospital on early Saturday afternoon. While Florida could have stopped playing, they elected to keep going. Taylor’s pregame gesture speaks volumes to the family that exists within Gator Nation.
