The Kansas City Chiefs struggled early, but are showing their the league’s best team against the Dolphins.

Speed will get a team far in the NFL. It also will help them prove to others they can win with a shortened clock.

For the Kansas City Chiefs, they have two speedsters in Tyreek Hill and Mecole Hardman. In almost one minute, the duo helped the AFC favorites hand a pair of scores on the Miami Dolphins.

During the third quarter, Hill was given a great advantage when Dolphins nickel cornerback Bobby McCain left the field and was replaced by  Clayton Fejedelem. All Hill had to do was win an the line of scrimmage and let Patrick Mahomes get a look downfield. A few seconds and 44 yards later, the Chiefs a 21-10 lead.

After Tua Tagovailoa and the Dolphins’ offense was held to a three and out, Hardman had his shot to set up Kansas City with great field position. He did a little more than that. Thanks to sound blocking up front, plus just the inline speed of the second-year wideout, make that score now 28-10 in favor of the way team.

The Chiefs are still the league’s best team and there’s no denying it

What looked to be a game in favor of Miami now has switched gears to Andy Reid’s squad. Mahomes threw a pair of interceptions in the first half, double his total turnovers on the season in less than 15 minutes. Tagovailoa looked hot early against the potential league MVP, seeing a touchdown to Mike Gesicki happen on the team’s third drive.

Since his second interception, Mahomes has been on point. Going 18-of-25 for 301 yards and a pair of scores, Kansas City quickly erased their deficit and surged back into the league. Throw in an interception caused by Tyrann Mathieu and it’s clear the  Chiefs can win no mater where they line up.

Now the question is, who is going to keep up with them on their way down to Tampa?
