The 2020 Pro Bowl results were revealed on Monday night, and there were notable names that were snubbed.

Prior to the Week 15 edition of “Monday Night Football,” the NFL revealed the results of the 2020 Pro Bowl vote. This year will be different, as the actual game won’t be played due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. That means there won’t be any late substitutions due to opt-outs like in years past. The list is finalized.

We’ve seen deserving names like Patrick Mahomes and Aaron Rodgers make the list, but then there are the snubs. Like every year, there are some names we couldn’t believe were left off their respective conferences Pro Bowl team. It’s par for the course, but it doesn’t make it any less confusing.

Here are five of the biggest snubs of the 2020 Pro Bowl.

The Buffalo Bills have some decent representation in the Pro Bowl. Josh Allen, Stefon Diggs, Tremaine Edmunds, Andre Robert and Tre’Davious White were all named to the NFL’s version of the All-Star Game, but there was one huge snub — safety Jordan Poyer.

Pro Bowl voting is split between coaches, players and fans, each counting for 33-percent of the ballot. The thing is, Poyer actually led in fan voting for the strong safety position, yet was left off the team altogether in favor of Tyrann Mathieu of the Kansas City Chiefs, Minkah Fitzpatrick of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Justin Simmons of the Denver Broncos. These are solid names, but Poyer deserved some more love in the coach and player voter categories.

This season, Poyer recorded 117 tackles (a team-high), five passes defended, two sacks, two interceptions and two forced fumbles.

You can expect Poyer to use this snub as motivation for both the remainder of the regular season and the playoffs, which the Bills will be attending after clinching the AFC East title with their win over the Denver Broncos this past Saturday.
