Louis Riddick appeared to swear during ESPN’s broadcast of Ravens-Titans.

ESPN got its annual NFL playoff game Sunday and the game featured the Baltimore Ravens take down the Tennessee Titans.

This broadcast was also an important one for the trio of Steve Levy, Brian Griese, and Louis Riddick. ESPN isn’t shy about changing up its top NFL announcing team and all three may have been announcing for their jobs.

Riddick, who is a hot commodity in GM searches, decided he was going to tell it like it is and appeared to drop an S-bomb during the game.

Riddick swears on live broadcast

Is this a big deal? No, not at all. Riddick was expressing his excitement about the Ravens offense and either got too excited, or our eyes our failing us in interpreting what he said.

Dropping a curse word is hilarious on a day when the NFL is broadcasting a game on Nickelodeon. Lamar Jackson also slipped in a curse word in his postgame interview. It is going to happen and honestly isn’t a big deal.

However, it doesn’t make it any less jarring to the casual viewer. It almost feels like you are hearing something you shouldn’t during a cable broadcast.

Riddick’s actual analysis is always great and is why he should end up in an NFL front office sooner than later. There he can truly say whatever he wants and not have to worry about having a meeting with management over getting a bit too honest on live television.

The Ravens are indeed electric, so Riddick should get a free pass on his first offense.
