Current Nets analyst and longtime NBA player Richard Jefferson appears to be a big fan of “Courtside Karen” on Instagram.

NBA Twitter was abuzz Monday night following the game between the Los Angeles Lakers and Atlanta Hawks. In case you somehow missed it, LeBron James and a woman sitting courtside got into a bit of a shouting match. She had her mask down, got ejected, and the name “Courtside Karen” was born soon after.

The woman, actually known as Juliana Carlos, now has over 70,000 Instagram followers and that number is only rising after Monday night. In an odd twist, James’ former teammate Richard Jefferson has gone through and started liking all of her posts.

Jefferson slams the like button

This is hilarious and Jefferson even responded right away.

Jefferson is currently a television analyst for the Brooklyn Nets and was famously a teammate of James in Cleveland when the Cavaliers won the NBA Finals over the Golden State Warriors in 2016. Liking all of Carlos’ posts as a joke to make fun of James is vintage Jefferson, for those who have seen his personality off the court.

This entire “Courtside Karen” situation is so bizarre and the fact it happened with limited fans in the stands is insane. James took it in stride and we even got an apology from Carlos on Tuesday. Ultimately, it was kind of nice to have some fan interaction during a game again.
