Even the official March Madness Twitter account is trolling the Big Ten’s performance at the NCAA Tournament, using a SpongeBob meme to eviscerate the conference.

It’s so bad for the Big Ten at the NCAA Tournament, official accounts are piling on now too.

After No. 1 seed Illinois suffered an upset to Loyola Chicago on Sunday, the official Twitter account for March Madness had some fun at the Big Ten’s expense.

Since this is the internet, of course, they used a SpongeBob meme to do it

It’s been that kind of tournament for the Big Ten.

Few expected the Big Ten to faceplant like they have in the NCAA tournament

Michigan State melted down in the final minute against UCLA in their First Four play-in game.

The Round of 64 saw No. 4 seed Purdue dropped in overtime by No. 13 seed North Texas for their first-ever March Madness victory. No. 15 seed Oral Roberts pulled off an even more stunning overtime upset over No. 2 seed Ohio State.

The biggest shock of them all came on Sunday, with Illinois losing to Loyola Chicago. Sure, the No. 8 seed Ramblers had Sister Jean cheering them on, but it was still a miracle outcome.

With Wisconsin falling as expected to Baylor, the Big Ten has lost five of their nine teams in the tournament before the first weekend is over. Maryland will have to produce a shocker against No. 2 seed Alabama and Rutgers will need some magic against No. 2 Houston to stay in it.

It’s not exactly safe for the top two remaining seeds either. No. 1 seed Michigan is missing key player Isaiah Livers and has to see off No. 8 seed LSU on Monday. No. 2 seed Iowa will take on a dangerous, and fresh, No. 7 Oregon team as well.
