What channel is Knicks vs. Hawks Game 1 and when will the action take place?

The NBA Playoffs have finally back at Madison Square Garden with the Knicks preparing to take on the Hawks in Game 1.

It’s the first time since 2013 New York is in the postseason. Tom Thibodeau needs to make it count.

Julius Randle turned into an All-Star in 2021. It’ll be up to him to carry his team in the most important game of their season so far. RJ Barrett and Derrick Rose will also lend a hand.

It’s on the Hawks to spoil the party for the Knicks.

Trae Young has been a scoring machine all season with 25.3 points per game and he’s looking to make a splash in his first trip to the playoffs with the Hawks. This is Atlanta’s first appearance since 2017, the year before Young was drafted. He has a young core at his side.

The New York Knicks and Atlanta Hawks will tip off at 7:00 p.m. PT on TNT. Tune in on broadcast television or find the game streaming on TNT Overtime.

Both teams come to the table with 41-31 records. Both teams have gotten progressively better as the season went on. Both teams hope to turn that improvement into playoff success. But only one can prevail.

It may come down to which squad handles the unfamiliar pressure of the playoffs best. Neither side has very much postseason experience on their roster.

Will Randle’s regular-season stardom translate to the postseason?

Will Hawks interim head coach Nate McMillan continue his impressive run at the helm for Atlanta?

It’ll all start on Sunday night in New York.
