You’d think the Houston Astros would be past their sign-stealing ways, yet here we are in 2021 and they are still stealing signs.

A Houston Astros security guard stole a sign on Wednesday night – luckily this one was of the cardboard and Sharpie variety. The irony? The Los Angeles Dodgers fan’s sign was trolling the Astros for, you know, stealing signs.

Dodgers fans shared videos of an Astros security guard taking away the hand-made sign poking fun at Houston’s infamous sign-stealing scandal.

Astros security still stealing signs… from visiting fans

By now, you’d think the Astros would be used to getting publically shamed by the baseball world for sign stealing. And yet they still want to take a page out of fans’ playbooks.

Surely, baseball fans everywhere are not going to sit around and let the Astros brush their 2017 sign-stealing scandal under the rug. Especially not Dodgers fans, whose team was a primary victim of this rule-breaking, losing to the Astros in Game 7 of the World Series.

Houston has paid the fines, sure, but there are still more duties to be paid before they earn back the respect of MLB diehards.
