The event is to benefit Mahomes’ 15 and the Mahomies foundation, which focuses on bettering the lives of children primarily in Kansas City, Missouri and Lubbock and Tyler, Texas.

“The charity is so special to me because it gives back to communities that have given so much to me,” Mahomes said, per Bleacher Report. “It’s going to make the world a better place. As many ways as I can do that, I am going to continue to do as long as my career allows me to.”

The event gave Mahomes time to compete and time to chill.

Mahomes’ brother, Jackson, shared a fun photo of the siblings.

There were also plenty of videos of Mahomes showing off his golf skills.

A practice round delivered more cool pictures and videos.

What followed was a discussion of Mahomes’ club choice.

The camaraderie between Kelce and Mahomes was on full display.
