Two teams that haven’t reached the NBA Finals either in decades or at all have a chance to continue their dream season. We adored the Suns in the bubble, but now they’ve commanded our respect, as well as the attention of the NBA elites.
In the other corner is the Los Angeles Clippers, who have never been on this stage in the entire history of the franchise. Seemingly cursed to be little brother to the Lakers, the Clippers are hot off of an iconic Game 7 win over the top-seeded Utah Jazz and are looking to make the NBA Finals for the first time ever.

Los Angeles came out firing in the second half of its Game 7 win on Friday night, but it’s a quick turnaround to the first game of the Western Conference Finals. The Clippers will put up more of a fight than some might expect, but the Suns can match the emotion and have a ruckus Phoenix crowd behind them in what should be a Game 1 win.
