Latest Aaron Rodgers quote shows no issues with Jordan Love
Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers revealed once again that he has absolutely no problems with Jordan Love.
For anyone who still thinks that Aaron Rodgers’ beef with Brian Gutekunst and the Green Bay Packers was about Jordan Love, the superstar signal-caller has thrown water on that idea once again.
With Rodgers back at training camp, he’s been spotted with Love smiling multiple times.
According to Green Bay insider Rob Demovsky, Rodgers has come out and said that he reached out to Love multiple times in the middle of the offseason drama to check up on him. On top of that, Rodgers also wanted to make sure Love’s mental game was strong.

Rodgers reaching out to Love must have meant the world to the second-year quarterback. With reports flying that Rodgers was considering retiring – which he admitted to as well – Love would have stepped in and taken over the offense had that gone down.
At the same time, Love was in a bit of an awkward position. Had he become the starter in place of Rodgers, fans sure would have had mixed emotions. They of course would have rooted for him, but they would have missed Rodgers as well.
Rodgers knew there was some extra tension for Love because of the beef, which is why he probably wanted to make sure the youngster was doing okay. That’s just the kind of guy and teammate Rodgers is.
Fortunately for everyone involved, Rodgers has settled things with the Packers and he’ll be back under center come Week 1. For Love, he’ll spend another year learning from one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. That’s not a bad deal at all.
