Tottenham star striker Harry Kane is still hoping to make his way to Manchester City to play for Pep Guardiola this summer.

Unfortunately for Tottenham Hotspur, it looks like the stunning victory over Manchester City on Sunday wasn’t enough to sell Harry Kane on staying with the club. Matter of fact, the forward is still waiting on a move to the Etihad Stadium.

According to insider Dean Jones, Kane fears that it’s now or never for a move to City and he’s hopeful that it can still happen this summer. After breaking the bank to bring in Jack Grealish, could Pep Guardiola find a way to land Kane as well?

Harry Kane knows that a move to Manchester City may never happen if it doesn’t go down this summer

Kane was not on the pitch over the weekend for the Spurs vs. City tilt. In the end, Heung-Min Son gave Tottenham a 1-0 win thanks to his brilliant left-footed strike that left Ederson flat-footed. Towards the end of the match, Spurs fans were chanting ‘Are you watching Harry Kane?’ with all their passion.

Manager Nuno Espirito Santo came out and said that Kane is one of the best strikers in the world and that he’s ready for the standout player to suit up for Tottenham. With that said, it’s clear that Kane’s heart is on the other side of England. While he’s beloved all over London, he’s eyeing major trophies elsewhere.

If City were to somehow bring in Kane before the summer transfer window closes, it’d boost their odds to not only repeat as English Premier League champs, but also to be major players in the Champions League as well. We should find out soon enough what happens with Kane, but the longer he’s off the field for Tottenham, the more Spurs fans are going to panic.
