FanDuel NFL 2021: Best lineup for Week 2
As you look to set your DFS lineups for Week 2, here’s a lineup to deploy on FanDuel.
The beauty and appeal of NFL DFS is it’s a one-week thing. Success or failure, there’s always next week with a clean slate. Maybe you took home some winnings by deploying our Week 1 FanDuel lineup.
For Week 2, I’m leaving out Thursday night and Monday night and focusing on the full day Sunday slate and the plethora of contests FanDuel offers. I’ll also be using this lineup in at least one contest this week.
Without further ado, here is a lineup to deploy on FanDuel in Week 2.
FanDuel NFL 2021: Best Lineup For Week 2
Quarterback: Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles vs. 49ers ($7,800)
A soft matchup against the Atlanta Falcons has to be noted, but Hurts delivered in Week 1 (27-for-35 for 264 yards and three touchdowns; 62 rushing yards). At first glance Week 2 looks far tougher, but not so fast…
Garbage time was a huge factor (57 pass attempts), but the San Francisco 49ers allowed 338 yards and three touchdowns (with an interception) to Jared Goff in Week 1. He even added 14 rushing yards. San Francisco lost cornerback Jason Verrett in the game, signing Dre Kirkpatrick to replace him. Josh Norman should play in Week 2, but this isn’t 2016 and the 49ers’ cornerback room doesn’t look that great.
Hurts’ floor is raised by his running ability, and he shouldn’t have much trouble through the air this week.
