Making college football picks against the spread for every Top 25 game on the schedule in Week 4 with Texas A&M-Arkansas, Notre Dame-Wisconsin and more.

As the 2021 college football season rolls on, there’s been an unprecedented number of top 25-ranked teams losing early in the year. When it comes to making our college football picks against the spread, that means we have to be wary that there might be something to this and that there is more parity than anticipated, especially with other highly ranked teams struggling against lesser programs.

Last week, the spread got the best of us as we went 9-10-1 in our college football picks but we maintained a strong record in regards to point totals, going 11-6-2 on the week. That puts us at 25-27-1 against the spread, 30-19-4 on point totals and 55-46-5 overall with our bets on top 25 teams for the 2021 season.

Trying to get back above .500 with the game lines themselves, we have our Week 4 college football picks against the spread and for the total for every top 25 game locked in. There are some tricky lines this week so try to avoid these games and look elsewhere to cash in. And as always, it’s important to monitor betting trends before making your wager.

Week 4 College Football Picks Against the Spread: No. 25-21

25 Kansas State at Oklahoma State (-6.0) – Under 46.5

This is really a pick-your-poison game with no good option. Either you take an Oklahoma State team at home that has looked lackluster or a Kansas State team that is starting a backup quarterback, Will Howard, who has struggled against higher-level competition. Give me the Cowboys in a defensive struggle but I don’t feel great about either side.

24 UCLA at Stanford (+4.5) – Over 58.5

Playing at Stanford isn’t a particularly daunting task for UCLA, a team coming off a heartbreaking upset loss to Fresno State. With that said, the Cardinal have looked flat-out good since Tanner McKee took over at quarterback and this could be a shootout. The over is easy but I’m leaning to the home team as they’re getting more than a field goal with this spread.

Georgia State at 23 Auburn (-27.0) – Over 57.0

Before losing to Penn State last week, Auburn had shown no problem with putting up a big number against inferior competition. Georgia State is very much that as they’ve been a punching bag a few times already this season. The Tigers bounce back in a big way to cover and hit the over by themselves.

UNLV at 22 Fresno State (-30.0) – Under 59.5 (Friday Night Game)

Jake Haener and the Bulldogs enter the top 25 after knocking off UCLA in a thriller a week ago. This offense is legit and should be able to put up a big number, big enough to cover against UNLV. With that said, Haener has been a bit nicked up so I could see Fresno State taking their foot off the gas and this game still hitting the under.

21 North Carolina (-12.5) at Georgia Tech – Over 63.5

Blindly betting the over on North Carolina games seems like a good call at this point in the season. For as impressive as Georgia Tech challenging Clemson was, the Tar Heels offense has looked miles better and Sam Howell is really getting into his groove. The Yellow Jackets can’t keep up with that but they can score enough against a porous defense to hit the over.
