The Kylian Mbappe distractions have continued for Paris Saint-Germain, as the star forward has confirmed he wants to leave at the end of his contract.

When Paris Saint-Germain announced the signing of Lionel Messi, who knew it would bring in more drama for the Ligue 1 giants? Ever since that moment, the rumors have swirled stating that Kylian Mbappe wants nothing to do with the team’s future.

With Mbappe out of contract at the end of the season, it’s really felt like he’s eyeing playing elsewhere. Well, the star forward took things one step further, confirming that he wants to leave Paris at the end of the 2021-22 campaign.

Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid rumors heating up even more

This has to be a bit of a gut punch for PSG fans. The club has hopes of winning the Champions League this year and they’re considered among the favorites to get the job done. With that said, the fact that Mbappe and the front office are having issues is a bummer.

This shouldn’t come as a major surprise either. When the two sides couldn’t agree to a new deal before the season got started, it opened the door for speculation to keep growing and growing. Mbappe even went on to admit that it’s always been a dream of his to play for Real Madrid.

With the La Liga powerhouse in the middle of a bit of a rebuild, they of course have high interest in landing one of the best players in the world in Mbappe. With them being potentially able to sign him next summer without having to pay a massive fee will only make things sweeter.

At this point, it’d be a shock if Mbappe doesn’t end up suiting up for Los Blancos. It’d be an even bigger surprise if he makes his way back to PSG next campaign.
