The Los Angeles Rams and Green Bay Packers are among the teams that should be on upset alert in Week 5 NFL action.

After a relatively tame Week 3, there were some dramatic upsets in the NFL over the weekend. The biggest shocker came at MetLife Stadium where the Tennessee Titans lost to the winless New York Jets while the Los Angeles Rams laid an egg at home against the Arizona Cardinals.

The latter loss wasn’t a surprise to the loyal readers of this weekly feature since the Rams were marked for upset alert status in this space. The Rams are back on alert again and we’ll take a look at why, as well as what other teams need to be careful in Week 5, below. 3. NFL teams on upset alert in Week 5 – Los Angeles Rams

Here we are again with the Rams, who came off of their dominating win against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 3 with a flat performance against the Cardinals. Division games inside the brutal NFC West are no joke and the Rams find themselves in another brutal spot in Week 5.

Los Angeles hits the road on a short week to take on the Seattle Seahawks in another NFC West showdown at Lumen Field. Traveling for the Thursday night game is never easy and going into Lumen Field is always problematic with the 12th man creating a significant home-field advantage for the Seahawks.

FanDuel has set the Rams as 1.5 point favorites, which makes this a dicey bet to begin with. Seattle is just 2-2 and needs a win to get above water in the division, making this a spot where they could ambush the Rams and hand Sean McVay’s team a second straight loss.
