Somehow, someway, the Oklahoma football teams stunned Texas to stay undefeated in Dallas.

While Oklahoma football fans celebrate a huge victory over the Longhorns, Texas football fans are dealing with one absolutely soul-crushing loss to the Sooners.

It was a good, old-fashioned Big 12 shootout, one that went down to the final second. Texas had looked better than Oklahoma throughout the contest, but a second-half collapse by the ‘Horns culminated in one of the craziest finishes you will ever see. Oklahoma stays perfect by improving to 5-0. As for Texas, this is the Longhorns’ second loss of the season, and there will be no playoff.

Here are the five most satisfying parts of Oklahoma’s 54-48 victory over Texas in Week 6.

Oklahoma football: 5 most satisfying parts about Red River win over Texas

5. Marvin Mims’ 52-yard touchdown reception was otherworldly to witness

To think this is only No. 5 on the list. It was a play by the Sooners that really let everyone believe that they might do the thing. When wide receiver Marvin Mims hit pay dirt from 52 yards out, this is when the momentum completely shifted in Oklahoma’s favor. It gave a Sooners team the confidence it needed to get the thing done. Here is Mims’ unbelievable touchdown one more time.

4. Vince Young trolled Oklahoma during the first half, and that backfired badly

For a minute there, it looked like Texas was back. As it turned out, the Longhorns were only Sam Ehlinger in the Sugar Bowl back. Taking in the game from the sidelines was Texas legend Vince Young. He talked a ton of smack about the Sooners heading into halftime. While he may regret posting that video, it will live in infamy on many Sooners message boards for the rest of time.

3. This was the first time Texas blew a 21-point lead to lose a game in school history

Sarkisian may be a good head coach, but he still has that Dan Quinn stink on him. The former Atlanta Falcons offensive coordinator blew a lead only Dirty Bird Nation could fully understand. This was the first time in Texas football history that the Longhorns blew a 21-point lead to lose a game. Losing to Oklahoma is one thing, but to unravel this unspectacularly is absolutely brutal.

2. Kennedy Brooks scored the game-winning 33-yard touchdown with one second left

This is the play from this installment of Red River that will stand the test of time. Three years ago, Texas had Dicker the Kicker. As bad as that was for Oklahoma, seeing Kennedy Brooks take it 33 yards to pay dirt to win the game with one second left on the clock was beyond remarkable. It was the capstone on the greatest comeback we have ever seen by the Sooners in this rivalry series.

1. Caleb Williams played so well in relief of an ineffective Spencer Rattler

It was a bold move by Oklahoma head coach Lincoln Riley to bench Spencer Rattler in favor of Caleb Williams. Ultimately, the quarterback change was the catalyst to the Sooners coming back and winning. The best part is Williams played great in relief of Rattler. He completed 64 percent of his passes for 212 yards and two touchdowns, as well as 88 yards and a score on the ground.

For a team that has faced so much adversity already, Oklahoma wins its best game of the season.
