Yikes: Vince Young gives peak Old Takes Exposed content after Texas chokes vs. Oklahoma
By John Buhler
Vince Young better watch out for Old Takes Exposed after the Texas football team collapsed.
Texas football legend Vince Young may have been a tad too confident about the Longhorns winning at Red River this year.
Young was there in-person to see Texas play well in the first half before collapsing catastrophically in the fourth quarter to lose to arch rival Oklahoma for the fourth time in a row. It was only a nine-second clip of him on the sidelines, but this is the type of viral content Old Takes Exposed will devour for all of our enjoyment. Oklahoma stunned Texas on a game-winning touchdown, 55-48.
While there are positives from the first year of the Steve Sarkisian era, there is plenty of room for improvement as well.
Old Takes Exposed: Vince Young sends regrettable video before Texas collapse
Though Young will get ripped for this, Texas was in complete control of the game before Oklahoma head coach Lincoln Riley made the bold decision to bench Spencer Rattler in favor of Caleb Williams. The Texas defense had no answers for the five-star quarterback. It also had no answers for stopping the Oklahoma rushing attack as the game went on. What a soul-crushing defeat…
This was the latest example of how Texas is 100 percent absolutely not back as a football team.
