Trevor Bauer makes return to Twitter following sexual assault allegations
By Ethan Lee
Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Trevor Bauer has been slowly making a return to social media after sexual assault allegations were made against him.
It looks like Trevor Bauer is in the process of incrementally making a return to Twitter. Bauer has been mostly inactive on social media since sexual assault allegations were made against him over the summer. Bauer previously denied those allegations.
Monday evening, in a poll on Twitter, Bauer asked his nearly 470,000 followers who they believed would win the ALDS game 4 featuring the Boston Red Sox and the Tampa Bay Rays.

But, although he hasn’t been all that active as of late, this is not Bauer’s first tweet since the allegations were made and an investigation into said began.
The Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher, who is on leave while the investigation is underway, tweeted twice on Saturday, sharing links to his YouTube channel, encouraging his followers to interact with him there. Twice last week, Bauer did the same sort of thing, sharing a couple of YouTube videos with his Twitter followers.
Prior to that, the last time Bauer tweeted was back on August 14 when he stated that he could “no longer be silent” as more reports came out surrounding the allegations.
It’s not totally clear what will happen with Bauer as the investigation into the assault allegations unfolds. It’s also not currently clear as to what his MLB future looks like.
