The crowd at Dodger Stadium is receiving some criticism due to plenty of empty seats for the NLCS Game 3 featuring the Dodgers against the Atlanta Braves.
As the Los Angeles Dodgers face off against the Atlanta Braves, it seems like some Dodgers fans missed the memo on the time for Game 3 of the NLCS. The Dodgers trail the Braves 2-0 in the series and a strong showing from the home crowd at Dodger Stadium would have likely been a welcomed sight for Los Angeles.
Unfortunately for the Dodgers, it seems like the fact that this is a Tuesday afternoon game for the folks out in LA may have somehow gotten in the way of a sellout being possible.

It sure looks like there are a lot of gaps and empty seats in that video, especially out past the outfield in Dodger Stadium. The Dodgers still had a pretty good crowd on hand, but it wasn’t a sellout, which is a little odd given that this is the NLCS.
Dodgers announce attendance at 51,307. Not a sellout.

The Los Angeles Times’ Bill Plaschke took to Twitter to sound off on how “empty seats don’t lie.”
Bill Plaschke sure seems displeased with how many empty seats the Dodgers had at Dodger Stadium for Game 3
Empty seats don't lie...even by official Dodgers count, game is not a sellout...can't remember the last time that happened for a playoff game during this nine-year run...even at 2 p.m. on a school day, a bleak stat

The Dodgers would have appreciated a sellout crowd given the stakes of this game. They can’t afford to fall behind 3-0 in this series with how the Braves have been on a tear and punching above their weight this postseason.
But Los Angeles may not need a sellout crowd to get a raucous environment or to get a win. The Braves are trying to avoid blowing a three-run lead as Los Angeles surges in the bottom of the eighth inning.
If Los Angeles can finish this comeback and come out on top, there’s a pretty good chance that the NLCS Game 4 will have a few more fans present.
