The Atlanta Braves are heading to the World Series but the radio call of the final out to win the NLCS is sure to hit you in the feels.

For the first time in over two decades, the Atlanta Braves are World Series bound!

With a 4-2 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers on Saturday night, Atlanta won the NL Pennant for the first time in 22 years and will now face the Houston Astros in the Fall Classic.

This is a massive moment for Braves fans as they’ve been holding out for this moment for quite some time. After all, Atlanta has been a perennial playoff team but has failed to fully live up to their potential. So doing so now after enduring injuries, hardships and much more is something that hits every fan right in the feels.

And that’s captured perfectly by the Braves radio call of the final out of the NLCS that landed them in the World Series.

Braves radio call of World Series berth-clinching out is incredible

Ben Ingram of Braves Radio Network captured the moment better than anyone else could have.

The fact of the matter is that Atlanta fans have been waiting for this moment for more than two decades as the team hasn’t won the NL Pennant since 1999. So his proclamation that the Braves were the National League champions was a triumphant statement speaking for every fan.

Of course, the fans are hoping that the triumphs don’t stop in the NLCS. The next step will be trying to capture their first World Series victory since 1995 as they take on the Astros.

Game 1 is slated for Tuesday, Oct. 26.
