Steve Spurrier hides in plain sight during the tailgating festivities of Florida-Georgia.

With the power of a Duke ball cap, Steve Spurrier is able to walk around TIAA Bank Field during Florida-Georgia without being recognized.

Given that Spurrier is one of the most unforgettable people the college football landscape has ever seen, one would think he would have figured out a way to hide amongst the crowds. As it turns out, all he has to do is rock his favorite ACC team’s hat and he is good as gold. Of course, a paper bag would have worked out just fine, as the Dawgs are straight giving it to the Gators this year.

Once again, there is and there only ever will be one Head Ball Coach: Steve Spurrier.

Spurrier already said the Gators can’t tackle very well, so maybe this Duke hat is a means to protect himself from getting chomped by those who think Florida’s tackling is just fine.

With another loss, the Gators will now fall to 4-4 on the year with all four losses coming in conference play. Dan Mullen and his coaching staff will be really feeling the pressure after this blowout loss.

So if you see someone wearing a Duke in Jacksonville, it is probably a visor-throwing mad Spurrier.
