Nikola Jokic levels Markieff Morris with massive hit (Video)

Nuggets superstar Nikola Jokic lost his cool and absolutely leveled Heat forward Markieff Morris with a massive hit that led to his ejection.

It’s not every day in the NBA that you see an absolutely violent hit like fans would watching the NFL. On Monday night, though, Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic completely lost his cool and his head while playing the Miami Heat.

Denver had a huge lead late in the fourth quarter when Jokic was bringing the ball up the floor. Heat forward Markieff Morris stopped in front of him and, for some reason, Jokic absolutely snapped.

After a brief pause, he went up to Morris and completely decked him with a massive hit/push/truck stick that put the Heat veteran dazed on the ground.

This isn’t something you see in the NBA all that often.

That’s completely unacceptable, even from one of the league’s star players. Morris was hurt quite badly too as the Heat had to bring out a stretcher for the veteran forward.

Jokic was rightfully ejected for the ridiculous and frankly awful act.

Obviously in the immediate wake of the incident, we don’t know how long Jokic will be out for.

Given the severity of the hit and the injury to Morris on a completely malicious act, though, you have to figure that the Nuggets will be without their star center for quite a while.
