With COVID cases rising across the country and hitting the NFL hard, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has revealed he received his COVID booster.

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes isn’t taking any chances. The superstar signal-caller is fully vaccinated, and he’s in the middle of another tremendous season for the AFC powerhouse. Following Thursday’s win, the Chiefs are eyeing the No. 1 seed in the conference even more than before.

For Mahomes, he’s also focused on doing everything possible to try and prevent the spread of COVID-19. On Monday, Mahomes revealed that he’s received his COVID booster. That’s of course big news for Kansas City.

Patrick Mahomes has gotten his COVID booster out of the way

Across the NFL, we’re seeing cases rise and guys have to miss games because of testing positive. Already on Monday, the Chargers announced Joey Bosa, Corey Linsley and Austin Ekeler had all been put on the COVID list. Bosa, unvaccinated, has already been ruled out for Sunday’s contest with the Texans, while Linsley and Ekeler are day-to-day.

The Green Bay Packers already saw Aaron Rodgers miss a game earlier this year due to COVID, which came against the Chiefs. Mahomes has taken the testing incredibly seriously and he is going above and beyond to make sure he isn’t at risk of missing any games for this team.

With the way Kansas City is playing, the team is looking like they’re ready to potentially go back to the Super Bowl for the third consecutive season. Mahomes will do whatever is needed to make sure nothing prevents that from happening.
