The Dak Prescott helmet sticker has caused a lot of Cowboys fans and NFL fans watching to wonder what the sticker actually is on his silver dome.

Whenever Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys take the field, the world is often watching — largely because the uber-popular franchise gets on national TV quite often.

On Sunday Night Football late this season, though, fans have noticed a new Dak Prescott helmet sticker.

And given that it hasn’t always been there and isn’t on the dome of any other Cowboys players, fans are wondering what it is.

Some fans wondered if it was a Star Wars character on the helmet.

Of course, that’s not the case.

After a little digging, though, we have the answer. The sticker is to signify that Prescott is the Cowboys’ Walter Payton Man of the Year nominee. And when you look back on the same sticker from 2019 when Dak was also nominated, you can see where the galaxy far, far away confusion came into play.

Alas, the mystery has been solved. It’s not a Jedi, Jar Jar Binks, a Death Star or anything like that. It’s a way to recognize Prescott as one of the highest-character players in the league.
