Joc Pederson, formerly of the Atlanta Braves and a World Series champion, asked fans where he should sign in free agency after the lockout ends.

Pederson did a little bit of self-advertising, asking fans where he should sign in free agency. The 29-year-old outfielder is a depth option at this point in his career, though he still carries a significant amount of pop in his bat.

With the Braves last season, Pederson slashed .249/.325/.428 with seven home runs in 64 games. He came up huge in the playoffs, and became known for the pearls he wore under his jersey. The necklace was eventually sent to the Hall of Fame after the Braves won the World Series.

“I just saw the pearls and I was like, you know what? That looks cool,” Pederson said. “I’ve done the black chain and the gold chain and all those different ones and — I think a lot of other players have. But I don’t know, kind of caught my eye. I was like, you know, those look good.”

Where should Braves fan favorite Joc Pederson sign?

Joctober is long over, but the Braves could still use a veteran outfielder. Unfortunately for Joc, it likely wouldn’t be in a starting role, at least in Atlanta. This takes away one clear option for him — which would be a return to the Braves.

That’s why Pederson asked fans where he should sign, at least with the hope of drumming up some interest in his services. This is especially true in Atlanta, where he gained a cult following of sorts in the postseason.
