Take a listen to the Kansas City Chiefs radio call of Nick Bolton’s scoop and score touchdown that helped get the win over the Denver Broncos.

The Kansas City Chiefs had a chance to clinch the top seed in the AFC, but only if they win their Week 18 matchup against the Denver Broncos. Kansas City had far from an easy time against their division rivals, but they escaped a loss and ran into a victory on one play.

With the Broncos offense looking to increase their 21-20 lead, running back Melvin Gordon was met by a hard hit from defensive end Melvin Ingram. From there, linebacker Nick Bolton scooped up the football and ran 86-yards for the touchdown to give the Chiefs the 28-21 lead.

This play was a true game-changer for Kansas City. They certainly received some help from Broncos head coach Vic Fangio, who opted to go for a field goal on fourth-and-9 on the following drive instead of going for the game-tying touchdown. The Chiefs clinched the victory with a nine-play, game-ending drive.

With this victory, Kansas City extended their winning streak over Denver to 13 games. For them to clinch the No. 1 seed in the AFC, they will need the Tennessee Titans to lose to the Houston Texans on Sunday.

On the verge of a potential loss, Kansas City changed their luck thanks to a clutch forced fumble by Ingram and the recovery touchdown by Bolton.
