After two long years, Klay Thompson will finally be making his return to the Golden State Warriors lineup on Sunday night. The Warriors look to bring an end to their two game losing streak, as they take on the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Thompson last played for the Warriors in Game 6 of the 2019 NBA Finals, where he suffered a torn ACL when attempting a contested dunk. The expectation was that he would miss the entire 2019-20 season, but would be back. But on the day of the 2020 NBA Draft, Thompson suffered a ruptured Achilles, knocking him out for the entirety of last season.

But after a lengthy wait, Thompson made it official on Instagram that he would be returning on Sunday against the Cavs.

Speaking of the Cavs, they have won two of their last three games, including a 114-101 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers this past Friday.
