Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid compared winning the Super Bowl to eating chocolate cake.

The Kansas City Chiefs are a step closer to securing a Super Bowl berth for the third-consecutive season. In the Wild Card Round, the Chiefs took care of the Pittsburgh Steelers, defeating them 42-21. Now, they face perhaps their toughest test in the Divisional Round — the Buffalo Bills.

When asked about whether he has the same championship hunger, head coach Andy Reid gave the analogy that winning the Super Bowl is like eating chocolate cake. Let Reid explain in the video below, courtesy of Megan Strickland of KSHB 41 News.

Chiefs: Andy Reid compares winning Super Bowl to eating chocolate cake

Never change, Andy. Never change.

The Chiefs had a rough start to the 2021 season, where they actually fell towards the bottom of the AFC West standings. Yet, they bounced back in a huge way in the second half of the season, resulting in them clinching the division title and the second seed in the AFC.

In the aforementioned Steelers game, they fell to a 7-0 hole in the second quarter, but then scored 35 unanswered points, with five touchdowns coming from the arm of star quarterback Patrick Mahomes. The Chiefs scored so many touchdowns, that the stadium actually ran out of celebratory fireworks.

They now move on from a Steelers team to a Bills squad that destroyed the Bill Belichick-coached New England Patriots. Buffalo became the first team in the Super Bowl era to have a perfect offensive game, where they scored touchdowns on all seven of their drives (excluding the kneel-downs on the final drive), resulting in a 47-17 victory.

The Chiefs versus the Bills will be the finale of the Divisional Round and is shaping up to be the best game of the entire playoffs on paper.
