While some fans may doubt him a bit, it sure looks like one former member of the Cleveland Browns believes in quarterback Baker Mayfield’s toughness.

If you ask some of his teammates, Baker Mayfield is apparently a pretty tough guy. It sure looks like the Cleveland Browns quarterback has earned the respect of a former Browns fullback because of how little he complains about any pain he may be experiencing at any given moment.

Andy Janovich, who is entering into free agency, believes that Mayfield isn’t one to whine and complain about any injuries that he’s dealing with.

He also has a very, well, interesting way of describing Mayfield’s ability to tolerate pain.

According to a tweet by Tyler Dunne, Janovich noted that he believes Mayfield would be able to deal with a ton of pain. Janovich made that very clear with a very bizarre and intense hypothetical scenario.

That’s certainly something.

Cleveland Browns: Andy Janovich has a wild description of how tough Baker Mayfield is

That is absolutely one way to describe someone who rarely vocalizes his pain. Of course, it’s also absolutely one of the most ridiculous and unique compliments someone could receive from a former colleague at any point in their lives.

But hey, kudos to Mayfield for demonstrating his ability to endure pain and continue playing. If someone is willing to say this about you, you’ve probably gone through a fair bit of discomfort and bodily harm at some point or another. And football does indeed cause bodily harm.

Even though he’s only been in the NFL for a few years now, Mayfield has gone through a few different injuries, including some labrum issues with his left shoulder and a couple other painful incidents.

But, he was able to continue contributing for a while and he apparently did it without really complaining much. That’s pretty impressive.
