It looks like one particular radio broadcast crew isn’t happy about how the Alabama basketball team did not benefit from this call.

While the University of Alabama is traditionally a football school that has a fanbase that largely ignores several of the other sports the Alabama Crimson Tide compete in, the folks behind the Alabama radio broadcast were far from thrilled with the way the Notre Dame Fighting Irish may have benefitted from a bad call from a referee.

This is something you need to hear for yourself. Go ahead and listen to this impressive rant right here:

It’s loud! The disagreement with the call is obvious and, apparently, the call was AWFUL. Absolutely HORRENDOUS. GOOD GRIEF!

Alabama basketball: Alabama radio crew angered over bad call in NCAA Tournament game against Notre Dame Fighting Irish

Referees make mistakes.

It happens all the time. Alabama even often benefits from bad calls. This isn’t something that is extraordinarily controversial to say. And it’s also worth noting that Alabama didn’t exactly lose this game by a close margin.

This was a lopsided loss for the Crimson Tide. Notre Dame won by 14 points. Yeah, that bad call is less than stellar, but this isn’t the only reason why the Crimson Tide lost to the Fighting Irish. Alabama only managed to make eight of their 24 3-point attempts while Notre Dame managed to drain 10 of their 16 3-point attempts.

The Fighting Irish also made 53.7 percent of their shots as Alabama only made 40.6 of their attempts.

That’s a relatively notable difference right there!
