The Gonzaga Bulldogs and Arkansas Razorbacks will go toe-to-toe on Thursday to open the round of Sweet 16 action for March Madness in 2022.

Fan enjoyed the first weekend of March Madness with wild upsets and bracket-busting chaos. Now after a few days to breathe, the Sweet 16 returns to sort out the contenders from the wannabes.

It all starts with No. 1 Gonzaga and No. 4 Arkansas with a West Region matchup.

Here’s everything you need to know for the NCAA Tournament battle.

Gonzaga vs. Arkansas game time

The Sweet 16 will officially get underway at 7:09 p.m ET at the Chase Center in San Francisco.

The game will be broadcast live on CBS. For those who don’t have a television service provider, head over to fubo.tv to tune into the live stream.

Gonzaga vs. Arkansas prediction

The Bulldogs have a clear edge in this one as the No. 1 seed in the West. However, they haven’t exactly looked impervious this year.

In the First Round, No. 16 Georgia State gave them a scare early. Gonzaga needed a late surge to pull away for the 93-72 victory.

In the Second Round, No. 9 Memphis led by 10 points at halftime. Again, a second-half comeback was needed for the Zags to advance, 82-78.

Despite those struggles, oddsmakers have Gonzaga favored by nine points.

Arkansas has the opposite vibe. They jumped out to early leads over No. 13 Vermont and No. 12 New Mexico State before things got nervy in the second half. They saw off the trouble for wins of 75-71 and 53-48.

So don’t be surprised if the Razorbacks take control in the first half. And don’t be surprised if the Zags respond with a second-half rally.

Holding off Vermont and New Mexico State is one thing but Arkansas will have a lot more on its hands trying to keep a lid on the Bulldogs.

Prediction: Gonzaga will beat Arkansas, 80-75.
