Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski wanted to speak with referee Joseph Lindsay about a charge call. Let’s just say Lindsay did not want to speak with Coach K.

Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski is in a literal win or go home scenario. Prior to the start of the season, Coach K announced that he would retire at the end of the 2021-22 season. Duke is in the Elite Eight as the second-seed in the West Region against the No. 4 Arkansas Razorbacks, and let’s just say Krzyzewski was fired up during the game.

In the first half, Coach K had a discrepancy with referee Joseph Lindsay over a charge call. Lindsay then mouthed to Krzyzewski repeatedly “I’m not talking to you.” That comes courtesy of CBS Sports’ Matt Norlander.

That’s one way to get out of a guaranteed argument.

Either way, Coach K was happy about what he saw from his team in the first half, as they left for the locker rooms after the first 20 minutes with a 45-33 lead. To end the half on a high note, Trevor Keels hit a three-pointer at the buzzer.

With a win, Duke will advance to the Final Four for the first time since 2015, the very year when Coach K won his last national championship. The Blue Devils look to send Krzyzewski into retirement with title No. 6.
