The Final Four in this year’s March Madness are the Duke Blue Devils, the Kansas Jayhawks, the North Carolina Tar Heels and the Villanova Wildcats.

March Madness will be decided this weekend in New Orleans, as the Final Four will be underway.

The first team to cut down the nets was Jay Wright’s Villanova Wildcats. They eked out a rock fight over the Houston Cougars to win the South. Hours later, Mike Krzyzewski’s Duke Blue Devils defeated the Arkansas Razorbacks to win the West. While these were the first two teams to earn their trip to New Orleans, they had to wait until the following day to see who they would play.

Meeting Villanova in the national semifinals is Bill Self’s Kansas Jayhawks. They obliterated the Miami Hurricanes in the second half to win the Midwest. Clinching the last spot into the Final Four was Hubert Davis’ North Carolina Tar Heels. UNC ended Saint Peter’s Cinderella story by way of an Elite Eight exit in Philadelphia. Fate would have it, the Tar Heels will have to play hated Duke again.
