The Golden State Warriors will host the Denver Nuggets in Game 2 of their best-of-seven Western Conference Playoffs series on Monday night.

The Golden State Warriors look to take a commanding 2-0 series lead in their best-of-seven vs. the Denver Nuggets on Monday night.

Golden State came out on top Saturday night with a convincing 123-107 victory over Denver. The Warriors were carried offensively by guard Jordan Poole and his game-best 30 points. This was his first playoff game in Golden State uniform. While Denver will certainly make a series of this, Michael Malone’s team will have to make a few adjustments to not get blown out of the building.

With this being the Warriors’ first trip to the Western Conference Playoffs since 2019, this team feels a bit rejuvenated. It has been a long three years for this team, but they are right back where they belong. As for Denver, the Nuggets are at the peak of their competitive life cycle. What remains to be seen is the ceiling for this current core built around all-world center Nikola Jokic.

Tipoff from the Chase Center in San Francisco, California will be at 10:00 p.m. ET, 7:00 p.m. PT on Monday, April 18.
