Relive the magic of Bryce Harper’s game-winning home run in Game 5 of the NLCS with the tingle-inducing radio calls of the moment.

Bryce Harper is working on getting a key to the city of Philadelphia with the way he’s coming through in the playoffs.

He was the hero of Sunday’s decisive NLCS Game 5 against the Padres with an eighth-inning go-ahead two-run home run.

Joe Davis’ call on FS1 was immense and there were multiple angles to enjoy it from. But it gets even better with some radio calls.

The radio call of Bryce Harper’s home run makes it even sweeter

Here’s how Phillies‘ radio broadcaster Scott Franzke called the homer:

You’ve heard it in English, now experience the call again in Spanish via Oscar Budejen:

But wait! There’s more. The Spanish TV broadcast from Fox Deportes is also worth a listen.

The city of Philadelphia may have had faith in their team but it’s tough to imagine anyone saw a World Series trip coming before this season.

It was a mountain climb just to get into the playoffs. Once they got in, the Phillies made sure not to waste their opportunity. They took down the Cardinals in the Wild Card and upset the Braves in the NLDS before facing off with the Padres in the NLCS. Along the way, they have lost just two games.

With five home runs apiece from Harper and postseason darling Rhys Hoskins, Philadelphia has outpaced everyone they’ve faced so far. They need to do it just four more times to claim their first World Series championship since 2008.

Harper and his teammates will get to celebrate their trip to the World Series while waiting for the Astros and Yankees to finish up their series. The ALCS could end as early as Sunday night with Houston ahead 3-0 going into Game 4. However, a rain delay in New York could put that series off schedule.
