Star free agent Odell Beckham Jr. is set to begin his tour as he decides which team to join, and an insider suggests he may end up in New York, not the Cowboys.

Odell Beckham Jr. has a lot of eyes on him as he starts his journey back to the NFL. It was speculated that he was most likely to land with the Dallas Cowboys, but NFL insider Josina Anderson may be dropping hints of him ultimately landing in New York through a cryptic Tweet.

He’s meeting with both the Buffalo Bills and the New York Giants this week, so it’s unclear which New York team he’ll end up with. Many are hopeful of a return to the Giants as that’s where he started his career, while others, including Von Miller, see him wanting to play in Buffalo.

Either place would be a great landing spot for OBJ, and he’d certainly be helpful on either roster if he comes back healthy and to his fullest potential.

Odell Beckham Jr. would fit in well with either New York team

Beckham has proven he can hang in NYC, having the best seasons of his career with them. His first three seasons, in particular, were highly notable as he recorded 288 receptions, 4,122 yards, an average of 14.3 yards per reception and 35 touchdowns.

When he joined the Cleveland Browns in 2019, he had a great season before injury knocked him down in 2020. He’s yet to perform up to his previous standards since, but his injury was never fully taken care of as it was later released that the first surgery wasn’t great. His most recent surgery is thought to have corrected everything, which suggests he could be back in full form next season.

In that case, he’d undoubtedly help the Bills, too. The Bills are a great team, but the Miami Dolphins have undergone a lot of successful roster development, and Buffalo is struggling to clinch the division. Beckham could give the extra push they need as he’s one of the bests in the league when he’s healthy.

The chances of him landing in New York seem to get more and more likely.
