Dallas Cowboys defensive star Micah Parsons did not make the Players’ All-Pro list, and he wasn’t happy about it.

Micah Parsons is one of the best defensive players in all of football. Yet, somehow, the Cowboys linebacker did not make the cut for the Players’ All-Pro list, which is voted on by his peers, rather than just some writers.

Parsons and the Cowboys are gearing up for the postseason, so that’s where his focus is at. Nonetheless, it was tough not to notice Parsons’ snub, and the Dallas Pro Bowler felt the need to say…something.

“Man I’m in playoff mode f*** that list! Congrats to those that made it tho! They deserve it!” Parsons wrote on Twitter.

Cowboys: Micah Parsons responds to All-Pro snub

The defense on the All-Pro team was as follows:

  • Edge Rusher: Nick Bosa (San Francisco), Myles Garrett (Cleveland)
  • Interior Defensive Lineman: Chris Jones (Kansas City), Aaron Donald (LA Rams)
  • Nose Tackle: Dexter Lawrence (New York Giants)
  • Off-Ball Linebacker: Fred Warner (San Francisco), Roquan Smith (Baltimore)
  • Cornerback: Pat Surtain II (Denver), Darius Slay (Philadelphia)
  • Free Safety: Minkah Fitzpatrick (Pittsburgh)
  • Strong Safety: Derwin James Jr. (LA Chargers)

It’s hard to argue with any of those selections, of course. But it’s also fair to think that Parsons, who is on of the premiere talents in all of football and one of the faces of America’s Team, got the short end of the stick.

Both Warner and Smith — who just signed a record deal for a linebacker — are having incredible years of their own. Surely, they would’ve had a similar reaction had they been left off the list.

Parsons still has a chance to make the official All-Pro team, voted on by the Associated Press and verified by the NFLPA. It’s tough to see him missing out on that cut, as well.
