The New York Giants are the first underdog to advance during Super Wild Card Weekend!

By stunning the Minnesota Vikings in Minneapolis, the New York Giants are moving on!

With a 31-24 road victory over Minnesota, the Giants have won their first playoff game since Eli Manning and the 2011 team won Super Bowl XLVI. Though no No. 7 seed has ever beaten a No. 2 seed in this current playoff format, No. 6 seeds like the Giants have gone on to hoist Lombardi Trophies. They are now three wins away from doing the improbable. So who are they playing now?

The Giants will be facing a familiar face for the third time this year, once again as the underdogs.

NFL playoffs: Who are the New York Giants playing in the NFC Divisional Round?

With the No. 7-seeded Seattle Seahawks losing to their No. 2-seeded NFC West rival San Francisco 49ers on Saturday evening, New York will have to travel to the City of Brotherly Love for a second time this season to face the top-seeded Philadelphia Eagles. As for San Francisco, the 49ers will await the winner of the Dallas Cowboys at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday night.

The 14-3 Eagles won both previous meetings over the Giants this season. The good news for the Giants is they only lost by a touchdown on the road in Week 18. This six-point defeat was far better than the 26-point home loss they suffered to Philadelphia back in mid-December. Given that this is a massive rivalry game, records can be thrown out the window. New York has a chance.

Overall, New York has the right head coach in Brian Daboll to lead them going forward. While it remains to be seen if quarterback Daniel Jones is a long-term solution for them under center, there are plenty of good vibes to be had for the G-Men. This team was utterly putrid over the last five seasons. Now, the Giants are one of the last eight teams in the hunt for the Lombardi Trophy.

Congratulations on the huge upset victory, but you have to back it up with a big win over The Birds.
